I've endured tinnitus in my left ear for more than 15 years. I've has to learn to mentally try to drown it out at time, and, I often use a listening earpiece in that ear to help overcome the ringing. The poor people who now have it because of the "big lie" vaccines. I didn't get one and NEVER will!

All Vets need compensated. My DAV claim filer told me not to consider a disability a benefit, but to consider it as and "earned entitlement" as a result of serving the country. I totally agree. We should receive every earned dollar of it. More ...

Working as a personal injury paralegal, the attorney routinely tells the client that even though they may not be suffering in a particular way when they sign the Release of Liability form to settle the case, if they develop any problems in the future, their Release prevents them from collecting damages. Bodily injuries do not always appear immediately but are equally compensable as those injuries that did. Provided you don't sign your rights away before those delayed injuries become apparent. I would claim the tinnitus is service-related and let the VA investigate and try to prove otherwise - especially if your first exposure to loud noises was during your service. More ...

I believe the VA will need to prove you were exposed to deafening and damaging noises after your military discharge in order for the VA to deny any payments for tinnitus. File your claim and let the VA do their investigation. Good luck with that! More ...

Lucas Brochu then you have 2 compensable injuries, at whatever degree they're at right now. i can't speak to ringing in my ears due to injury, but iLucas Brochu then you have 2 compensable injuries, at whatever degree they're at right now. i can't speak to ringing in my ears due to injury, but i do have an awareness of constant "white noise" within my head/ears/mind. Sometimes i hear an occasional high pitched ringing noise in one or both of my ears which last for only a matter of seconds to a few minutes. I think what I'm hearing is the sound of the universe. If I close my eyes, focus on the white noise and tune out all other noises, i feel like i'm floating around the cosmics among the planets. More ...

Hearing aids can also lower your stress levels by reducing the amount of effort needed to hear and understand sounds, especially speech. This, in turn, can help alleviate tinnitus, since stress can worsen tinnitus symptoms.12
And some hearing aids come with tinnitus relief apps to help lessen your symptoms with relaxing tones, distracting sounds, and/or customizable programming capabilities to mask the exact frequencies at which you’re hearing the tinnitus sounds."
