On the mortgage article that you posted it should also be noted that after the house closing is done, all the papers are signed, and you've left the room, the bank takes the promissory note that you signed, they turn it over and stamp for deposit only on the back.
This is where the document becomes monetized.
Then the bank can sell the promissory note up to nine times.
The loan payment agreement that you also signed is separate from the promissory note.
If you contact your bank and ask for a copy of your promissory note they will never show you the reverse side that reads For Deposit Only.
Twenty years ago I had a friend that was a mortgage broker and I asked him if he had ever seen "For Deposit Only" stamped on the back of a mortgage promissory note, he said yes but he didn't know why it was there, I enlightened him as to why and it blew his mind.
Some say the value of the promissory note was created out of thin air when you signed it, some say that the money came from your birth certificate account, either way it was your money and the loan was satisfied and paid in full at the time of the house closing.
So why do you need to make monthly payments to the bank for a loan that was satisfied and paid at the time of the closing? It's because you also signed a separate agreement to make monthly payments to your bank for the amount of the promissory note.
It's been said that there's thirty acts of fraud in the paperwork of a bank mortgage.
The same thin applies to student loan, car loans and credit card loans.
